I had the privilege of going with Chaz to Fremont Prison with Shekinah Christian Ministries for a ministry seminar November 29-30, 2014. Chaz was part of the ministry team with another couple, Tim & Jackie. Both Chaz & Tim ministered to the men after a lively worship service for three services during the two-day event. The love the men had for the Lord, and their sweet worship service blessed Chaz and I. These believers put a lot of "outside" church worship services to shame! The men were hungry to hear God's Word and to talk with us. Their faith in God, especially in spite of their circumstances as some were in for life, touched our hearts and strengthened our faith. These dear brother's have learned the Apostle Paul's secret to "to be content with whatever I have," and "to live on almost nothing or with everything. I have learned the secret of living in every situation, whether it is with a full stomach or empty, with plenty or little. For I can do everything through Christ, who gives me strength" (Philippians 4:11-13, New Living Translation). The volunteer pass I have clears me to go with the minstry team as a visitor four times a year. This was my first trip, and it was exciting for me to be with the men, hear some of their stories, and to see Chaz in his element of teaching! -posted by Gina

Being able to travel with the one you love is probably one of the best things in life. Not everyone has the opportunity to do so because most couples are busy building their own family. Having an opportunity to reach out to unknown places just to share the word of life is really a great one. We never know what those people are going through in life. They may be having difficulties in particular things in life and Jesus is the only one that could answer it.
